Beloved husband of Ila Slater; dear father of Joan (Cal) Brake, Bowmanville, Doug (Judy), Smith’s Falls, Anne (Kirk) Perry, Kingston, Keith (Cheryl), Ajax, Dan (Wanda), Clarkston, Michigan, Gary (Dawn), Kanata, Dale (Jennifer), Hexton, Daryl (Christina), Colebrook. Dear brother of Arnold (Penny), Smith’s Falls, Bill (Wendy), Ardoch, Jessie Clow (late Harold), Peterborough, Eileen (Lloyd) Smith, Sudbury, Helen (Richard) Massey, Peterborough, Lenore (Brad) Clark, Perth. Predeceased by brother Ralph (Lorena),and sisters Mary (Francis), and Esther (Hartzel). Also survived by 17 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren.
