Obituary of Mary Genevieve Deslaurier

Peacefully in Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Thursday July 27, 2017, Genevieve Gagnon, at the age of 87 years.  Beloved wife of 70 years to Daniel Joseph Deslaurier.  Born in Calabogie, July 7, 1930.  Daughter of the late Jane Ester Grenier and the late Joseph A. Gagnon.  Beloved mother of Barbara Callaghan (Ken Harris), Renfrew, Daniel Jr. “Bud” (Susie), Winnipeg, and Gwen Deslaurier, Renfrew. Pre-deceased by son Gerald, sisters Violet Hoad, Veronica Cookson, brothers Louis, Joseph A., Raymond & Frank (Doris). Loving grandmother of 3 granddaughters and 5 great-grandchildren.  Private family visitation will be held. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church on Monday July 31st at 10:30 a.m.  Interment Most Precious Blood Cemetery, Calabogie.
