Obituary of Owen Enright

We are deeply saddened to announce the death or our brother, Owen on Tuesday January 16th, 2018. Beloved brother of Pauline (Kevin) Hughes, Rose (M.J.) Curley, Eldon (Karen) Enright, Donna (Ron) Morrison, Cathy (Kean) Hunt, Chris (Doug) Lambert, Debbie Enright and M.J. (Anne) Enright and brother in law of Elwood Scobie. Predeceased by his parents, Jerome and Mary (Lepack) and his sister Lucy Scobie. Owen is also survived by nieces and nephews: Cathy, Jean and Shawn Hughes, Kim and Sherri Scobie, Christopher and Mandy Curley, Bevan, Stuart and Mary Lou Enright, Ryan and Brad Morrison, Terri, Joanna Hunt and Keanan Hunt Stone, Phillip Lambert, Maggie Verhelle, Julia, Johanna and Wil Enright.

Respecting Owen’s wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no visitations. However, we sincerely hope that his many relatives and friends will join the family at Our Lady of Fatima Church for a Memorial Mass on Saturday January 20th at 10:30 am followed by a time of sharing of memories in the church hall.  Spring burial will take place at the Holy Well Cemetery in Mt. St. Patrick. 

We want to sincerely thank Dr. Amanda Comeau for being there for Owen and brightening his days with her wonderful smiles. Thank you to the St. Elizabeth Visiting Nurses who gave exceptional care, Stephanie Knox, Community Care Access Co-coordinator, and all the staff and volunteers at Renfrew Hospice and as well to Fr. Holly for his prayers for Owen and our family.  Our heartfelt thanks to his many friends who visited him during his illness.  He so looked forward to those visits.
