Obituary of Edna Margaret MacDonald

(Retired National Film Board, 1981)

After a life well lived, Edna passed away peacefully  at Hospice Renfrew at the age of 93 on Friday October 25, 2019.   Edna was the dear daughter of the late George and Clara (Clement) Varrin. Loving wife of the late Jack MacDonald.  Dear Step-mom of Janice, Gregory (Brenda) and Robert.  Dear grandma of Jessie, Will, Melissa, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Crystal and Ryan and great-grandma of Katie-Tyler, Emma, Liam, Jack, Keiran, Leo, Kevin, Nisa, and Sarah.  Pre-deceased by her brothers Ernest, Edgar, Harvey (late Imelda), George and her sisters Mary Catherine (Kay) Kelly (late Bernard) and Merle MacDonald (late Douglas). Edna will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S Renfrew on Sunday October 27th from 2-4, 7-9 pm only. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church Renfrew on Monday October 28th at 1:30pm.
