Peacefully at Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Saturday October 26, 2019 at the age of 83 surrounded by his loving family. Cherished husband of Aldene McLaren for 65 years. Loving Dad Michael (Sheila), Robert (Sheryl), Kim (Paul Fountain), John (Linda), Ron (Kelly), Doug (Barb), and Ken (Bonnie). Proud grandpa of 15 and great-grandpa of 4. Dear brother of Eunice (late Art Meilleur), Irma (late Bert Robillard), Joan (late John Pumphrey), Geraldine "Gerry" (Jack Craig.) Predeceased by his brother Raymond (late Elizabeth), and his sister Loretta (late Bob Hamilton).
The family wishes to thank the staff at Quail Creek and the Renfrew Victoria Hospital for the wonderful care that they provided Emmett during his illness. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church Renfrew on Saturday November 2nd, 2019 at 10:30 am. Private family interment to follow.
