It's saddening that we haven't been able to have a large celebration of life for Nan, but at least she's aware that even in rest she is loved. I still have the green dress she got me for my 6th grade grad, which I had also worn for my 8th grade grad, along with a few toys she had given me from when even she was a little girl.
She I'd missed and I'm not going to lie that I occasionally forget that she has passed and I talk as though she is still around.
And for Rick, I hope you're doing well and are still finding joy in playing by the fire.
