Dear Debra. I was sifting through my photo boxes this morning and I found a card that Dolly made for me in 1983. She wrote something which I think sums up her approach to life. "To live one day at a time, is after all, the best way. I found now...I don't think about the past, nor grieve over its passing, I don't trouble myself about the future, nor worry over its coming, I try to live each day so wonderfully well, that it will be worth remembering!!!!! And I love you and this is my legacy to you - think about it and try it, it works!!!". I treasured this positive and loving approach that Dolly had towards life and will always remember her this way.
