So sad to hear of Dolly's passing. She was such a wonderful lady, with an amazing sense of humour. Quick to smile and crack a joke, she was a dear and close friend to our entire family. Her class, smile, warmth, and laughter will be sorely missed, as will her sense of style! Debra, my deepest condolences to you. Dolly, You were loved by many and will be missed. Rest in Peace my dear.

Sincerest sympathy Debra. Your Mom, Dolly, the lady with sass, grace and a lot of charm. She lit up a room with her colorful, well chosen outfits.
You made me laugh that I cried and I will not forget you and the ladies and our trips to and from church and your many telephone calls after my loss.
R. I. P. dear Dolly.
The angels will have a great time when you
enter the golden gates.
You will be greatly missed.

Dear Debra. I was sifting through my photo boxes this morning and I found a card that Dolly made for me in 1983. She wrote something which I think sums up her approach to life. "To live one day at a time, is after all, the best way. I found now...I don't think about the past, nor grieve over its passing, I don't trouble myself about the future, nor worry over its coming, I try to live each day so wonderfully well, that it will be worth remembering!!!!! And I love you and this is my legacy to you - think about it and try it, it works!!!". I treasured this positive and loving approach that Dolly had towards life and will always remember her this way. Lots of love to you, Debra. Wish I could be there with you right now. Love, Josi

Dear Debra, it was with great sadness that I got your phone call. I admired, respected and loved your Mom very much. She was always a delight. Never seen her a day without a smile and a chuckle! She enriched my life greatly and I know the lives of many whom she touched. I’m thinking her and my brother Roland are up there right now sharing Corey stories. They both loved Coronation Street. My heart breaks for you dear Debra! The two of you were so close and this has been such a shock. Please know my prayers and thoughts are with you at this sad time. Hugs....Anne Haley

Debra, we will surely miss Dolly in so many ways. She was always a pleasure to talk with, visit and watch walking down the driveway in her signature hats and stylish fashions. I remember the first card dropped off in our mailbox welcoming us to the block, it made such an impression on us. We will miss her so very much, rest in peace sweet neighbour.....

Debra, please know our sympathy and caring thoughts are with you at this time 0f loss of your Mom Dolly.
Your Mom was such an up-beat person with a great sense of humour and true zest for life. And she enjoyed sharing her positive outlook on life by reaching out to others. Our hope is that the wonderful moments and memories you recall of your deep, true friendship and love of your Mom carry you forward through the next days and weeks. We so enjoyed your genuine neighbourliness over the two short years we lived beside you both and sincerely appreciated you and Dolly reaching out to the 'newbies' on the block. May your Mom now rest in peace.
