Our condolences to the whole family.
Gary was a wonderful human being and a man of integrity. One that will be sorely missed. He was generous and kind. Hard working and persistent. His commitment was instrumental in the formation of The Greater Madawaska Fire Department Station 2. A one of a kind individual that will be remembered with affection and gratitude.

Dear Sandy
Always sad to open the Brantford Expositor & read a friend’s obituary. The picture of Gary is exactly how we will remember him as well as fond memories from curling, travelling together, backyard pool party and cooking up the Kingfish we caught on charter boat trip off Deerfield Beach, Florida. The write-up gave a wonderful glimpse into Gary’s achievements during his lifetime. Indeed, he will be missed. Love, Glenn & Ruth Ann

Sandra and family it is with a sad heart I write this message. So sorry for your loss. I remember Gary at the bingo one night telling Lady Di she was cheating because she yelled bingo ( for those who didn't know Lady Di she was blind) Gary loved to tease her every chance he got. You all feel like family to me and I miss all the fun we had at the Camel Chute campground! My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Louise and I are sending hugs to you all during this very sad time. It was impossible to meet Gary and not recognize what a fine, hard working man he was. When we first came to Camel Chute, it was always a pleasure to have a chat with him about so many subjects. It was difficult to see him having to sit back and not get involved with camp projects and fraternize with campers. He fought with tenacity and it took an obvious toll on his body. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him but his suffering has ended and he is at rest. Please support each other and know that we understand the emotions that you are experiencing and will be thinking of you and looking forward to celebrating Gary's life next summer.
