Our deepest sympathy to the Debenham family. We last spoke with Bill when he and Jim were singing goodbye to Elmer. Even on a day of sadness, it was such a pleasure to see them again, and on that day he spoke so highly of you, Debbie. It's been a few years since you worked on job sites with him, and it was after that when we met Jim. Bill's humor, talent and workmanship will
be missed by so many. Allow those thoughts give small comfort to those of you who have loved him the most.

My sincere condolences to the Debenham family. I was saddened to hear of Billy’s passing. Having only been a Legion member for under two years, I met Billy through darts and was fortunate to have him as a partner and teammate in this year’s Legion play downs. It was only then I learned of his talent and love of music that he shared with his brothers. Too short a friendship, however, glad to have known him.

I remember playing golf with Billy, Larry, and my brother Paul. Billy was by the golf cart which was no where near where I was to hit the ball. Well after my swing, I see Billy duck and the ball hit the cart. Soon funny seeing his face. We had some fun 4 wheeling with those carts that day. Ty Billy for the memory

Our condolences to Bills family,. Bill and his brother did some work for us on the Queensline and they were soo professional. It’s probably been 10 years ago now or longer but on my way home from Arnprior I stopped to help this gentleman who was dressed in camo and in trouble. He sure looked familiar A deer had hit his white van. After chatting found out he was hunting that day with my husband Ron near Fitzroy. The police that came by also knew Bill, the toe truck driver that came by also knew him so we got the ok to throw that deer in the back of my van and my mother, Bill and I headed for his home with his new violin and his deer. It was quite late that night and Im sure he had fun telling his family and friends how these two ladies picked him and his deer up and he had the evidence on his front lawn. Rest In Peace Bill, Helen Eckford

My condolences. I was dealing with him last week. We always had fun driving each other nuts. My entire staff has been shocked by this. He taught some of them. The others enjoyed him.
I will never forget showing up for jam night at Butsons, 30 years ago, and Billy taking me under his wing.

Patti and family, I had the pleasure of working with Bill at the plant (Boeing/Arnprior Aerospace) here in Arnprior. As a fellow musician we shared a lot of great chats at work . Bill was over to my house to help with some trim work, that turned into an impromptu to jam and a wonderful evening of playing and song. I've never met anyone as kind and genuine as Bill, a friendly guy with a positive attitude and a smile for everyone. A wonderful entertainer that was only enhanced further with his brother's great harmonies. It was a pleasure to know him and I am saddened to hear of his sudden passing. My sincerest condolences to you all. Take solace in all your wonderful memories of Bill as they will help you all in the days and weeks ahead.
