Kathy,
I sat next to your dear Earl for almost a decade at 22 St. Clair Ave E as President of Weston Foods when he was President of "Fish & Chips". I remember him fondly for his constant good humour and engaging manner - he was a wonderful friend and in the "heated" world of Westons a loyal and faithful colleague.
I am so very sorry not to have seen either of you for over 25 years but the recent death of Galen brings all those years together so very clearly.
Debby & I have 7 grandkids now and we were recently out West seeing our two youngest and I have attached a picture of Grandfather (me) with the 3 year old and the 1 year old in Banff last w/e where they live. You might recall me ??

Our deepest sympathy and condolences on Earl's passing.

My deepest deepest sympathies to friends and family. I worked at Weston corporate on the 19th in legal and he was a gem to deal with on my many trips to his office on the 20th. Sometimes just to shoot the sh***. He was great can’t say anything more. Those that knew him were lucky.

I have very fond memories of Earl when I was at Gerge Weston in Toronto - I looked up to Earl (plus he was taller than most) and respected his wisdom and wry humor tremendously! He will be missed but remembered for his many contributions especially to his family!
Thanks,
-Pharid

I had many great trips to the Hunt Camp. After a successful hunt Earl would make us a Caesar beverage that I enjoyed sitting beside the Pioneer Princess.
My sympathies to the entire Pearce family.

I had the great fortune of spending many happy hours in the company of my good friend Earl, and indeed with his wonderful family.
I have many happy memories of him and yes, there are lots of hunting and fishing stories. Not many fishing stories, however, are traditionally backed up with photographic evidence. As you can imagine, Earl was a very happy fisherman when he landed the wee trout, in the picture, from our fishing trip. Happy is very much an understatement and ever the generous host, Earl promptly invited the fish to dinner!
My sympathies go out to you Kathy, Karen, Kevin and the rest of the family at this difficult time. We all share the pain of your loss.
Through your own precious memories and fond recollections from his many friends, Earl will be ever with us.
