joey was a hard worker putting 16 hour days working to keep mac wilsons propertys neat and snow free for 20 years always on call... a work ethic worthy of mention.. guess you can rest easy now joe.....rest assured it took 4 guys to fill your shoes... miss u buddy rip ...

Hadn't talked to him since I left Renfrew in 1979 but will always have memories of hanging out with Joey, playing in the gully, and hating rye whisky for many years. Thanks for the great childhood memories Joey and for always having your door open.

I was very sorry to learn of Joey's passing. I hadn't seen him out in the community for a long time & didn't know he'd been struggling with his health. My condolences to the family. R.I.P. I was always impressed by Joey's kind, quiet and shy manner, but also his friendly nature. I am happy that he has been released from his illness and has been called home. I will be praying for him at Mass in a short time. Peace to family and friends!

Sue, my heart is sad and broken for you at this most difficult time. I will cherish Joey forever as a wonderful, loving and caring man to all he knew but especially to you. You were there for him when all others gave up on him and that's why he loved you so deeply. Keep that close to your heart in the tough days ahead. I love you both and miss him terribly.
Aly, my heart breaks for you. Always know your dad loved you so very much and was proud of you.

Very sad to hear of joe's passing. We were neighbors as kids, went to school together and worked together as teenagers. Joe was a kind and gentle guy and always took time to stop and talk to anyone. My condolences to his family at this most difficult time.
