Obituary of Emmett William Brennan
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Emmett with his family by his side on Monday January 11th, 2016 at Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew in his 80th year. Emmett was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Catherine (nee Rowan) and his siblings Leila Quigley (Jim), Lawrence (Jean), Evelyn (deceased January 10th, 2016) (Bill Cunningham), D.J (Joan). He is survived and will be greatly missed by his sister Alice (George) of Kingston and his brother Hughie of Ottawa. Much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Emmett was a great friend and neighbour to many especially to Terry and Brenda Dwyer and children and Peter McBride. Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S, Renfrew on Friday January 15th from 6-9pm only. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Church, Douglas on Saturday January 16th at 10:30 am. Spring interment parish cemetery. From the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank Dr. DiPaolo, nurses and support staff of Bonnechere Manor for such loving care of Emmett. Emmett’s passion was farming and he was devoted to his animals. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Michael’s Church or Bonnechere Manor.
