Even though we knew this was coming, we miss her already! Joan was always a sweet and gracious lady. She welcomed us into hers and Tom’s home with a big smile and a friendly greeting. She was a woman of faith and she lived it. I cannot remember her ever saying a negative thing about anyone. She was always eager to hear about how our grandchildren were doing, about how all of us were doing. That’s the kind of person she was: reaching out to others. She will definitely be missed, and set a lovely example of what it used to be a Christian.
