Dear Bob, David, Jennifer, and Alison,
What a sad shock was Liz's/your mother's sudden death. I still cannot quite believe it.
Because I could not come to the visitation with Ivan yesterday, I was ready to leave at 9 am this morning for Renfrew, but was discouraged by the weather. So I went to my regular food bank volunteer job and hope Liz would have approved.
I will always cherish her kindness and thoughtfulness at the time of Margaret's death.
Those characteristics, plus friendliness, epitomize Liz, I think.
With deepest sympathy,
Charlotte (and Ivan)

Our family is shocked and saddened to hear of Liz's passing. She has been a good cottage neighbour to us for so many years, always a delight to have a roadside chat or share a glass of wine with. Liz seemed so healthy, always taking long walks or jogging by. She was so vibrant and always genuinely interested in how the family was doing, our travels or what projects were going on at our place. We will truly miss her friendly cheerful face on Cross Lake.
We are sorry we could not come in person to convey our condolences to you.

Dear Bob and your family ~ we are all so saddened to hear of Liz's passing. We always looked forward to your visits to the office, so upbeat and positive. We enjoy hearing about your family far and wide, and when the snow is piled high, wonder how you're doing in the warm Carolinas. We will treasure our time with Liz and the many laughs we shared, whether that was hearing about your grand-kids, or commiserating about our golf scores. Dear Alison & Family -
I had the pleasure of meeting Liz when she visited with Alison and her boys over Christmas. I met her once again at Alison’s home and she joined us for wine and appetizers on the deck. I enjoyed meeting Liz as Alison spoke of her often and clearly admired her strength of character and commitment to her family. I also enjoyed reading the cute comments that she often left on Alison’s exercise blog as her intention was always to encourage her daughter and provide a chuckle when she knew it was needed.
Alison, your family and Liz are in our prayers and please allow us to support you during this very difficult time.
Love,
Nancy, Joshua & Julia
