Obituary of Robert "Bob" Gorra

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bob at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital at the age of 81 on Tuesday September 26, 2023. Bob is gone to join his beloved wife of 44 years Elaine, who predeceased him in June of this year.  Dear son of the late Joseph and Celia (nee O'Grady).                                                   

Dear brother of Jack (late Nancy), Ted (Maggie Turner). Dear son in law of Jessie and the late Francis Stubinsky. Dear brother in law of Dianne (Brian) Moran, Deborah Guthrie (Steve Meincke) and Diane Gorra.  Predeceased by his sister Mayme Gartland and his sister in law Glenda. Bob will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephew and many wonderful friends.

A Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S Renfrew on Friday from 6-8 pm and from 10:30 am to 12 noon Saturday.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Most Precious Blood Church, Calabogie on Saturday September 30th at 1:00 pm. Interment parish cemetery.  Donations in memory of Bob may be made the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Oncology Unit or Hospice Renfrew
