Obituary of Andrew (Andy) Blimkie

Suddenly at Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew on Sunday June 2, 2024 at the age of 71.  Beloved son of the late Alfred and Josie (nee Hanniman).  Dear brother of Leona (Gordon McFarlane) and Gerald (Donna).  Predeceased by his brother Gregory.  Dear uncle of Linda (Dale Jackson), Rev. David McFarlane (Carissa), Melissa (Wade Brasch), Bryan Blimkie, and Janet (Chris Donovan). Andy will be fondly remembered by his great-nieces and great nephews and his many friends at Magellan Aerospace.  

The family wishes to thank the staff of Bonnechere Manor for the wonderful care that was provided to Andy.  A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St ., S Renfrew on Friday June 7, 2024 from 5-8 pm.  A Memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Church, Mount St. Patrick on Saturday June 8th, 2024 at 10:30 am.  Interment Holywell Cemetery.  Donations in memory of Andy may be made to the Sunshine Coach or Bonnechere Manor Foundation.
