Member 3rd Degree, Renfrew Council 1916, Faithful Commander, Canadian Martyrs Assembly 4th Degree Renfrew/Arnprior. Passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital on Tuesday May 17, 2016, in his 76th year. Husband of Sheila McGuire for 55 years. Loving father of Michael (Lori), Murray (Claire), and Marc. Fond grandfather of Andrew, Christopher (Elisha), Shane and Connor. Great grandfather of Phoenix and Jonathon. Dear brother of Gilbert, Edith (Ivan) Connelly. Pre-deceased by Howard and Vera. Don worked at Stone Container for 33 years. Visitations at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St. S., Renfrew, Friday: 2-4, 7-9 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, Saturday May 21st at 10 a.m. followed by a time of fellowship and refreshment in the parish hall. Interment St. John Evangelist Cemetery, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Francis Xavier Parish Memorial Fund or Hospice Renfrew would be appreciated.
