Obituary of Ila Hermer

Peacefully at the Lennox & Addington  Hospital, Napanee  on Friday May 12,  2017, Ila (nee Slater) of Denbigh, Ontario, age 89 years.  Beloved wife of the late Clarence Hermer (January 4, 2017). Dear mother of Joan (Cal) Brake, Bowmanville, Doug (Judy), Smith’s Falls, Anne (Kirk) Perry, Kingston, Keith (Cheryl), Ajax, Dan (Wanda), Clarkston, Michigan, Gary (Dawn), Kanata, Dale (Jennifer), Hexton, Daryl (Christina), Colebrook.  Dear sister of Royce (Phyllis) Slater, Petawawa, and survived by sister-in-law Pauline Slater, Maple Leaf, Ontario. Pre-deceased by Lola McShane, Ilena Ellenberger, Keith Slater, & Ida Yackobeck. Also survived by 17 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren. 

Visitations at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St. S., Renfrew, Monday, May 15th from 12 noon until 2:30 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Mount St. Patrick, Monday May 15th at 3 pm.
