Dear Sally, Debbie, Daryl and the entire Cook family: My sincere sympathy in the passing of Ray. I have fond memories of him coming to our store in years gone by-such a kind man. The photo of him looks awesome. How proud he looks. As the memories of good times flow by in your mind may they warm your heart and bring a smile to your face. Thinking of you at this sad time.

Me and Cindi's hearts hurt for your loss Sally, Brent & Connie, Butch & Jo-Anne, Debbie & Darryl and family. As sweet as future visits will be with you all, I can't imagine what they will be like without my cousin Ray. He left an indelible impression since my first visit home when I was 5 years old. I had looked so forward to conversations with him again. His sweet demeanor, wit, and reflections on life feel like an unfinished story in my life that will have to be continued when we meet again in the presence of our Lord. We will have to keep in mind, for the time being, how those we have lost would want us to enjoy the gift of life and the comfort of those around us that we love.
With much sorrow
Love,
Craig and Cindi

Passing along our heartfelt condolences to Aunt Sally, Debbie, Butch, Brent and their families. I have many fond memories of Uncle Ray. As a youngster, watching him do bodywork on vehicles in the old garage, barn dances, new years eve parties, helping him on the farm during summer holidays with hay and with a portable sawmill that he used to process farm logs for lumber. We always had a great time at the farm; playing broom-ball, driving snowmobiles and "field cars" throughout the farm, and sometimes even bronco busting calfs. Such a great sense of humour he had, and always enjoyed a good joke that ended with a hardy laugh. And then later in life visiting the flea market and all the gadgets and modifications that he made to his "off-road" scooter. He will be missed for sure, but the memories will live on.
Andy, Wendy & family.

Ray was like a father and close friend who always made us feel like we were coming home when we visited the farm. So many fond memories going back to when I was a little boy. He kept us connected with our family roots. I enjoyed the many hours of conversation and laughs we shared whenever we got together. I will miss Ray very much. He will always be in my heart.
Sally, Debbie, Brent, Butch and family - God bless you all. We are with you spirit and pray that God's grace will give you peace and comfort. Love Gary, Kirsten, Jake, Jessie & Meghan.

I would not be able to list just one memory of Uncle Ray. They were always around for all special moments of my life. I dont recall a special moment he and Aunt Sally were not there for. They were so close with Mom and Dad. Always visited on either friday or saturday evenings after their supper. As a teenager i would go up and stay overnight on Saturdays to be there for the flea market on sundays. Always loved the moments at the farm. So many fond memories. Uncle Ray was always an influence in my life. I will.miss him dearly

Sally my heart goes out to you, Ray was a very special man.
Brent all I can say is you are in my thoughts and prayers. To loose a parent is one the hardest thing to go through.
Ray was an active man until the end, it seemed nothing could stop him. I have seen him ride that scooter everywhere. It was only a concern when he would go close to the edge of the road, and yes he would topple on to the ground. We would get him up in the scooter and off he would go again... The golf cart was great but that reaching out with his stick to pick up beer bottles or cans would catch him once in a while also. I remember One day I was out checking the mail and saw Grace outside and we started chatting and we heard yelling, as I looked down the road just down from
Peggy-Sue’s place it looked like Rays golf cart. Grace at the time had a sore leg so she said here take my truck and go see what’s happening. Sure enough Ray has reached to far for a can and fell out. I tried to lift him but could not manage on my own so told Ray be back in a minute. I drove back to Grace’s and Barry Martin who had moved off of McCallum Dr just the year before was on his way to Grace’s. So I went back to Ray and said Barry going to come help us. Sure enough there was Barry pulling into Grace’s and back out he came to help us. Barry and myself where about to get Ray back in the golf cart. This time we said you better go home, he said but I got more things to do, I go home later... what a trooper. We called Sally and left a message that said, Sally Ray fell out of golf cart when he finally comes home you better check him out.
Full of life and determination to do what he wanted, going to miss him coming in the yard checking to see what I was getting into.
Charlene loved the bears in his lil cart
May you Rest In Peace Ray❤️
