So sorry to hear you lost Maurice! I know this is very late in coming but I was just going through the Renfrew obituaries and saw that Maurice had passed away. Our sincere sympathies to Ann and families! I remember Maurice so well from when he worked with my Dad, Tom Freemark. I do believe they had lots of laughs at the Police Station and socially! Ann and Family. I am heartbroken that Maurice has passed on. I really enjoyed dropping over while at the lake. We shared many stories and had many laughs. If he got a twinkle in his eye when telling one of his stories I always knew it was going to turn into a joke, and I would be laughing before he even finished. I will miss those times. It won't be the same at the cottage without Maurice there. No longer hearing the sound of the lawn tractor as Maurice buzzed around will be missed. He will be missed. Maurice and I worked at Thompson Motors, I was just starting out in the work world and Maurice was very kind and patient with me.We shared a lot of laughs together, our paths changed Maurice started his career with the Renfrew Police and I later with the OPP. Our beloved brother in law, Maurice....we will miss him so very dearly. we have so many wonderful memories before and all the while our children were growing up and onward to this day (basically, we lived at the McQuade house and cottage). We shared many laughs, joys and sorrows....and did them all together. My family treasures all our memories with Maurice, my sister Ann and their wonderful family ...and Maurice's family as well.
