My deepest sympathies to the Eady family. Mabel was a wonderful lady. One of my fondest memories is sitting in her front yard, sharing ice cream after The Terry Fox Run. She will be missed by many.

Hi Welland,Judy, Gordon, Janet and Clayton, very sorry that i was away in the Cornwall area and could not get to the funeral or Visitations.
My sincere sympathy in the loss of likely one of the finest Mothers around; no doubt your Mom came to junior baseball games when Harvey was coaching Renfrew(or was that hockey or both?) and i was playing for the villains and upstarts from Douglas.
We are sad today but we rejoice in the fact that we had your great Mother on this earth for all the years we did and she made the world a more wonderful, bearable place.
Sincere best wishes to all of you on the remaining road of life.

I am sad to hear of my cousins passing. Mabel always made my Mom and I welcome when we visited Renfrew when we visited from Vancouver. I remember her home being a buzz of activity with Mabel at the heart of the action. I am so happy I had an opportunity to gather on the front lawn for a cold one with Mabel and her family. She had a full life, a loving marriage, lots of friends, enjoyed picking her berries, playing cards but mostly she loved her family. They are a wonderful tribute to the legacy that was her life.

Without a doubt Mabel showed us that one life can make a huge difference. Her love of life was contagious to all who had the pleasure to meet her and her hospitality was unmatched. She leaves behind an Eady Clan who, like her, are a blessing to their friends, neighbours, and family. May God bless Mabel along with her kith and kin that she left behind.

I have lots of wonderful memories of summer visits to Renfrew to visit Auntie Mabel. Trips to the dairy, berry picking, darts and watching curling or baseball. Her raspberry pie was something special and she just made everyone feel so welcome. Thinking of you all this week. Laura McGuire (Marciniec)

It is with great sadness we get word of the passing of your dear mother and grandmother. What a lady!! We will forever cherish the opportunity to have met her and share time with her (as well as Harvey and the rest of the family). The day we met she said, now don't go anywhere, I'll be right back! Back she came with steaks and a flask for Saul (Neal's father in law). Well what a time laughing and joking. Later that evening she said, you all had too much too drink you are staying here! I have your beds done up. I said, I only drank pepsi, to which she replied. I said, you had to much to drink with her laugh. You had to laugh and love her. What memories to live with. Such love and kindness. She will surely be missed and our hearts go out to each and every one in the family. We can understand the sorrow and grief losing such a family treasure. Rich & Judy

Our deepest sympathy to all of Mabel's family. She was such a unique person who always had time to say hello. Her wit and smile lit up the room I remember her from Busy Bee and greetings on the street. She always made time for the kids. Family meant the world to her and I know you will miss her dearly. Sending hugs your way. Sincerely: Fay and Keray O'Reilly

Our condolences.
We are so very sorry to hear of
the passing of Mabel... She was a lady who was endeared by so many. We enjoyed our times with Mabel and family at the garage....
She would stick her head round the corner of my office and say " I'm pickin...you buying?"... (Blueberries) I'd respond "Yupper" ...and away she'd go.....When she would get her hair done...I'd say "Hey Mabel"... she'd always reply "Nope, Im Rose today"... that meant it was hair day...
A lovely lady who brought a twinkle to everyone's eye. Mabel...you will be sorely missed..Rest in peace now.

Mable was in a league of her own and everyone who met her was happy that they did. She had a beautiful spirit and would try to make you smile or laugh out loud. Her strength and determination multiplied with caring family and friends. Her faith was unending and her kindness will always be a fond memory in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you now. Mable's happy spirit will live on, in the big strawberry patch, in heaven.

Bob and I were so saddened to hear that Mabel had passed away! We were hoping to visit her in April to get a special Mabel hug!!I remember many nights when my parents played cards with Harvey and Mabel. All the kids would fall asleep before the parents were finished and I recall being carried home! To all the Eady “kids” our heartfelt sympathies... take comfort in the fact your Mom and Dad were two of the best!!
