To all of Emily's family, I am very sorry for her untimely passing. I have lots of memories of her that will be cherished. I had coffee with her , a couple of beers with her and fixed a lot of things for her in and around the house. She was a super lady ,an old Peter Street neighbor and a fine friend. It is with great sadness that I read of Emily's passing. I extend my sincere condolences to her family and friends . Dear Cheryl [Allan] and family : When our mother died a close friend of mine sent me this poem and I would like to share this with you and your family and hope it gives you comfort.
The poem Is titled " Your Mother" and it goes like this:
Although you cannot hear her voice or see her smile no more,
your mother walks beside you still just as she did before.
She listens to your stories and she wipes away your tears,
she wraps her arms around you and she understands your fears.
It's just she isn't visible to see with human eye,
but talk to her in silence and her spirit will reply.
