Hi, I was very sorry to hear of Veronica’s passing and that I would not be able to reach out to her. I didn’t really know her but she was always very kind to me when we met. I had no idea she volunteered at Bonnechere and Nanny (Mary Kuseler) did not mention it or we could have called on her when visiting Nanny who passed in 2009. I have a picture of 4 of the sisters that sits on my desk (Mary, Doris, Elsie and Veronica) that I cherish. My thoughts to you all and hope for peace in your lives. Danielle Dore

I am so very sad to hear of the passing of Mrs Donohue. That’s what I always called her. I have many wonderful memories of sitting with her over a cup of tea discussing her family and the goings on in the Renfrew area. Her family was the most important thing to her and every day they would visit. There was always a crowd at lunch time at Donohue central. I shall miss her and the wonderful times she and Leo welcomed me into their home. May she rest in eternal peace in the arms of our Lord. George Wilkinson
