The picture of Marty on the horse, he would be 20. I took that picture. We went out west together and worked on a ranch that his uncle was Forman. The owner, a oil man, very wealthy had about 10 polo ponies. Our job was to exercise them daily. When we left, we jumped trains and rode through the Rockies to Williams Lake in an empty coal car. We damn near froze, but what a way to see the Rockies. ...Bob Gould

Marty was a pleasant and funny gentleman, who along with his buddy Johnny Nadobny managed to drop in for a few refreshments after spending sometime on Canada Day displaying their cars. We always looked forward to and enjoyed these visits. May he rest in peace. Our sympathies and condolences are with his family. John and Bernice Dota and family
