Sharon & Mike, Dan & Lindsay - just hearing now of your loss. Aunt Idena was a real lady in the true sense of the word. My earliest memories of your mom was before she was married and Uncle Lawrence would drive the both of them up and down Raglan St from the fairgrounds to the Cedardale - and later memories of her entertaining me when I returned to Renfrew for family events. She was so gracious. R.I.P. Aunt Idena

Sharon and family: My deepest sympathy to all of you for the passing of your mom. Aunt Idena was a lovely lady full of class and grace. As she was my godmother, I will always remember her and Uncle Lawrence visiting on Boxing Day to ensure I had a Christmas gift from them. Truly wonderful people.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Idena. I worked with Idena in the kitchen at the Renfrew Legion and enjoyed every moment of it. She was so calm and never let anything upset her, regardless of the circumstance that came before us and she made the best lemon meringue pie ever. Idena, you and Pat, Julia and Emily can open a kitchen in heaven and we will come dine at your table when we cross over. RIP..
