Obituary of Eric Young Kauffeldt

We wish to announce the passing of Eric Young Kauffeldt after a long illness on Saturday December 18, 2021 in his 70th year. Eric was the father of Trish Kauffeldt (Jason Alford) and Naomi Kauffeldt and the grandfather of Keenan Corbin and Secret Shields. Predeceased by his father Norman Kauffeldt (Ethel Webber) and his mother Patricia Handford (Dr. Ed Handford) nee Burch as well as his infant brother Tom. Eric had a lifelong love of music and was a radio announcer at CJET radio station in Smiths Falls while also working as a part time disc jockey. Additionally he had fond memories of his time as a member of Metagenesis, a local Renfrew band. Eric's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all of the wonderful staff at Miramichi Lodge for the excellent care they have given over the years.
