Dear Donna, Stephanie, Stacey, and the entire Elliott clan -that Ruth was so very Proud of....I extend my deepest Sympathy: I had the good fortune of knowing Ruth for may years. She loved to tease me about the current happenings with Town Council and at times caught me off guard - but with that twinkle in her eye and her happy spirit -we always has a great laugh. She was simply a kind & lovely lady. She loved to have fun and make people laugh- she was always the spark to get the party going at the Seniors Centre. She was an awesome lady to be around - She will be truly missed - I will say a life well live with the offering of so much kindness. I keep you in my thoughts & prayers at this sad time.

To all the Elliot family,
Your Mom was an amazing, unbelievably funny and generous soul. The heart that your mother had for others, is a rare gift to the many people who had the privilege to know and love her. She was such a giving person and I am forever grateful to her for the love and friendship she had for our family for all these years. She had that twinkle in her eye and always left me laughing whenever we said goodbye. May her warm, loving spirit live on in you all forever, and her memory never be forgotten. May the arms that welcomed your Mom in heaven, hold you as you journey through this unbelievable sad time. Sending all my love, prayers, and sympathy

Ruth and Vincent welcomed us as new neighbours on Calabogie Lake in 1986 with Ruth’s phenomenal homemade cookies and pie. From that day on the Faloon’s and Elliot’s have been great friends and neighbours. At times Ruth could try to project a stern demeanour but it was easily cracked with a tease to uncover her beautiful smile and the bright twinkle in her eye. I, for one, will miss that smile. One can always tell the character of a person by the character and love shown to them by their family - And Ruth was loved by us all. My deepest condolences to wonderful Elliot clan. Tom Faloon
