Anne and Matteo,
I attended the funeral today but was unable to speak to you. Please accept our deepest sympathies. Your mother was a beautiful sole. We picked her up many times to attend dinners at Sue Laughlin's (she is my aunt) and had such great visits and lots of laughs. May all your memories help guide you through the difficult days ahead.

She had so much to say about everything in a very good way. I remember one night many many years ago; we were chatting about music and I played her my latest recording that I had been working on, and she simply remarked, you know Jimmy, the music is excellent, but get rid of that singer, he is just dreadful! she just said it like it was, the truth, it was brilliant, and sure the band split up soon after that. I wish she had of given me the advice years before...
I could go on and on about the wonderful memories I have of your mother, Anne, and I hope to tell you in person soon, but she was such a rare and lovely person, and I will miss her terribly.
