Obituary of Maureen Ferguson

It is with great joy that Heaven has announced the arrival of its most beloved daughter, Maureen Bethany Ferguson from Grove Park Lodge in Renfrew to her eternal resting place in Paradise on this 24th day of March in the Two Thousand and Tenth year of our Lord. Born in Griffith, Maureen was the much loved daughter of Clophia Ann (Marcella) and James Varrin. She was preceded in her eternal journey by her beloved husband of 53 years, Nelson Ferguson, whom she married in Kingston on May 7, 1945, by her sisters Irene, Violet Garvin, twin sisters Marian Corinne & Maureen Vivian, Carmelita Thompson and by her brothers Wilfred, James and Vivian. She will be greatly missed by her children James (Christine), Barry (Shirley), and Glenyce-Ann Reyes de la Rocha (Santiago), by her grandchildren John, Stacy, and Michelle Ferguson and Ray and William Reyes-Ferguson, and by her great-grandchildren Charity Keller and Evan Reyes-Gilliland. Also left to mourn is her sister Geraldine Pultz (Milo) of Oshawa, and her sister-in-law Evelyn Varrin, also many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Grove Park Lodge for their care and support.
