I got to know Barbara from her frequent visits with my grandmother, Barbara Thibeault, in Greely. She would indulge in the sweets that were always available and we’d chat for hours. After my grandmother passed I would occasionally bump into Barb at the Carp Farmers Market. She was a feisty one, which I greatly admired! My sincere condolences to her family for your loss.

Deepest sympathy to Barbara's family. I enjoyed her smile while we visited and chatted. Always a grin and a glint in her eye!

Grandma had lots of determination. Can you believe she went zip lining in Quebec when she was 71 years old? Yup, that’s her up in those trees. She amazed all of us with her fearless approach. She had a bucket list, and these accomplishments all involved her family. We loved her for that!

Our deepest sympathy to you, Barbara's family. We had the pleasure of meeting Barbara occasionally through Ann and Terry and Kay., her sister. When I ,occasionally, would visit Barbara while in Bonnechere Manor, she always knew who I was and called me by name. She was very proud of her family. Ann and Joan were certainly loyal and true nieces in being attentive to her needs and wishes while in Arnprior and Renfrew. May she rest in peace and be enjoying her chocolate and ice cream in Heaven.
Sincerely, John and Darlene Meleskie

Mom was always excited to get out for some fresh air, warm or cold, foot or skate. Especially if there was sweet to be had along the way. This cherished memory of our crew skating the canal end to end. Beavertails and melted maple taffy on snow stops shared with everyone.
