Obituary of Catherine "Kay" Gollinger-Lorente

It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mom at the age of 92. Kay passed away on Monday June 13, 2022 at the Perley Rideau Veteran's Home. Beloved wife of the late David Lorente (January 2, 2021). Dear Mom of the late David (Judith), Dan (JoAnne), Jane (late John), Don (Fei Min), Doug and Desmond (Jacquelyn). Dear grandma of Adam, Anthony, Calli (Steve), Jonathan (Tausha), Christopher (Anna), Samantha, Keita, Kirin, Breyan (Sarah), Caitlin (Thomas), Hannah and Grace. Predeceased by her two granddaughters Deanna and Jenna. Kay was the last surviving child of the late Joseph Gollinger and Catherine Monaghan. Kay was a sister of the congregation of Notre Dame. Kay became a teacher at a very young age and taught for many years prior to her becoming a principal where she ended her career St. John XXIII School in Arnprior. A private visitation and service will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St S, Renfrew. Donations in her memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
