Obituary of Gregory Alan Burgess

(Owner/Operator KOA Campground, Renfrew) It is with profound sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of the patriarch of our family in his home surrounded by love, the day after his 51st wedding anniversary. Beloved husband of Angela (nee Piché). Loving Daddy of Trevor (Michelle), Tobi Dalcourt (Ian), Amanda (Jerry Tamarit), Kristy Biddle (Mike), Adam (Lisa), and Tyler (Kristine). Greg was predeceased by his loving son Kyle and his parents Doug and Dorothy Burgess. Dear Baboo of Braydon, Dawson, Madison, Colton, Cameron, Ethan, Mahria, Rileigh, Alexa, Everett, Bentley, Lincoln. Hayden and Jameson. Dear Big Baboo of Kaiden. Dear brother of June (Bernie Holland), Debbie (late John Greenwell) and Trish (Guilio Cacciato), brother-in-law of Catherine Souliere and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Greg will be greatly missed by his dear friends Dan & Betty Ann Stanton, Wendy and Dick Conquer and Sharon Ridout. Greg and Angela worked proudly together at the KOA campground for over 23 years where they worked as a team, supported by their loving family, friends and acquaintances. His children loved him greatly and will continue the tradition with their own children and grandchildren by never ending a phone call without saying, I love you and by saying “Good Night, I love you, see you in the morning” Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S Renfrew on Saturday June 25 from 6-8 pm. The family would like to extend a warm invitation to share memories and a time of fellowship during the Celebration of Life that will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Renfrew Branch on Sunday June 26th from 2-4 pm. Donations in Greg’s name may be made to Care Camp, https://koa.com/community-camping-programs/care-camps/donations/ “Oh what a lucky man he was”
