Obituary of Donald Thomas Richard

Peacefully at Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Saturday July 2, 2022 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Veneta Gagne for 50 years. Cherished Dad of Melissa (Dan Houwen) and Amanda (Justin Regier). Proud grandpa of Jared, Peyton, Georgia and Gwenyth. Dear brother of Leonard (Elizabeth), Barry (Marlene), Terry (late Pam), Cassian (Mike) and Allen. Predeceased by his parents Percy Richard and Clara (nee Kluke), his sisters Catherine (Cecil Hodgins),Leeann, infant sisters Betty Ann, Bernadette and his brothers Ron and Larry and his brother in law Joe Kingsbury. Don will be fondly remembered by his sister in law Elizabeth (James Wilson) and his many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle Street S Renfrew on Tuesday from 6-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church on Wednesday July 6th at 10:30 am. Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Building Fund or the Renfrew Victoria Hospital. The family wishes to thank the Renfrew Hospital staff for the excellent care that they gave to Don.
