Helen was our dear neighbor on Fortington St in Renfrew for the two years we lived there . She was a kind , friendly , sweet ,caring , good soul , like our mom in a way . We had lots of visits in her memory filled little kitchen drinking tea or a cold beverage in summer , and chats on the driveway every time we were both outside . Helen spoke proudly of her family and fondly of her dear husband Isidore . We missed her after we moved for my husband’s career , but exchanged Christmas cards for more than a few years til one day they stopped coming . I have Helen’s lovely butter cookie w raspberry recipe , which I cherish . I’m sorry for your loss , and the loss of your dear brother , which I know devastated dear Helen . We will fondly remember Helen . RIP Helen ❤️.
