With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert Bennett in Ottawa Civic Hospital on Thursday July 21, 2022, age 81 years. Son of the late James and Catherine (nee Hass) Bennett. Beloved husband of the late Alma McNulty, dear father of Lynn (late Ben) Deslaurier, Lisa Bennett, Randy (Deb), Lee Anne, Kirk (late Cheryl) and the late Shane. Dear grandfather of Sheena, Katlin, Taylor, Sheldon & Megan, and great-grandfather of 8. Dear brother of the late Rosemary, late Sister Pamela, C.S.J., Bertrand (Clare), Babe (Wilf) Brown, late Louise (Ron) Johnston, James "Bud" (Fran), Ron (Jeannie), Kevin (Marlene), Arlene (late Michael) Breen, & Carson. Visitations at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St. S., Renfrew, Sunday July 24th: 2-5 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, Monday July 25th at 10:30 a.m. Interment Parish Cemetery.
