Today (October 11th) is your birthday and you were to turn 51 which is what I turned yesterday and you would have been bugging me about being one whole day older. I will miss you so very much Trent. You were a one of a kind original and no one will ever compare to you doll.
Sending so very much love and light to all your family.
Until we meet again my friend ♡

My most beautiful memories of my cousin Trent are from childhood. When you grow up in a rural area your cousins often become your best childhood friends. These bonds remain strong throughout your life and can never be broken. Distance never broke my bond or my love for my cousin, Trent.
Us kids played Hide and Go Seek, climbed trees, built go-carts, played in the creek and built snow forts and tunnels in winter.
One winter me and my other cousin were playing near a big gully filled with melting ice and water. I fell in and it took me a while to get out because the bottom and sides were covered in pure ice. With the help of my cousin hanging his leg down I was able to pull myself out. I was panicked, crying and screaming. If anyone has fallen through the ice or in cold water you will know it feels like a thousand knives being shoved into your muscles - for me it was my feet all cramping up from being in the icy water. I yanked my boots off and threw them on the snow.
Trent and my other cousin came along and then went to the house to get help. A short while later they came back to tell me I had to walk back. I was still crying and didn’t want to put my boots back on to walk. My feet were so cold. Trent took off his nice dry and warm winter boots and handed them to me. Then he shoved his feet into my icy, wet boots and helped me up. We walked back together. Trent’s feet had to have been so cold in my wet icy boots trucking through the snow. He never complained. Instead he said, “Geez, it feels like Niagara Falls in these boots!” We all laughed and I stopped crying.
This was the nicest thing anyone has done for me in my entire life and I’lll never forget it.
This is who Trent was as a kid and he never changed. Such a kind, loving and compassionate man, and so funny.
I love you Trent.
Trevor & Tracey, I’m so sorry for the loss of your little brother. Condolences to you and your families. Love you guys. Condolences to Trent’s best buddies. I know who you are and am so glad to see the pictures you have posted. I love seeing Trent so happy. Thank you for sharing.
