Obituary of Norman Howard Ilan

It is with great sadness that we announce Norm’s peaceful passing at Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Monday January 2, 2023 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Donna Johnston for 39 years.  Dear dad of Shelley (Jim Lumsden), Donna (Bob McParland), Valerie (Lloyd Hisko) and step-dad of Stephanie and Stacey (Ray Beaudette).  Predeceased by his son Robbie.  Dear grandpa of Shawn Lumsden (Ashley), Sarah (Chris Simpson), Ryan Arbuthnot (Krystyn), Kaitlyn (Kip Mulvihill), Tarah-Lee Cotie and Tanner Cotie.  Dear great-grandpa of Danielle, Aidan,Bailey, Caleb, Kailyn, Nicholas, Addison, Lukas, Taylor, Millie and Charlee. Predeceased by his brother Brent. Norm will be fondly remembered by the Elliott and Johnston families. 

A Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S Renfrew on Wednesday January 4th from 2-4, 7-9 pm and after 9 am on Thursday.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, Renfrew on Thursday January 5th at 10:30 am.  Cremation to follow.  Donations in Norm’s memory may be made to the Arthritis Society.  Online condolences/donations may be made at www.gouletfuneralhome.com
