Obituary of Elaine Gorra

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Elaine at home at the age of 79 on Thursday June 15, 2023. Dear daughter of Jessie and the late Francis Stubinsky.  Beloved wife of Bob Gorra for 44 years. 

Cherished sister of  Dianne (Brian) Moran and Deborah Guthrie (Steve Meincke) Predeceased by her sister Glenda and her sister in law Mary Gartland.  Dear sister in law of Jack (late Nancy), Ted and Diane Gorra.

Elaine will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and her dear friends; Bev Moran, Barbara Marsh and Maggie Turner.

A Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S Renfrew on Sunday June 18th from 2-4, 6-8 pm only.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Most Precious Blood Church, Calabogie on Monday at 10:30 am. Interment parish cemetery.  Donations in memory of Elaine may be made the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Oncology Unit or the Ottawa Heart Institute.
