I don't have words..
I worked with Ally for a few years and she always had a way of making everyday just a little bit more fun. As we found new jobs I hadn't kept up with Ally much these past two years and my heart absolutely sank when I decided to see what she had been up to and in doing so found her obituary. It honestly doesn't even feel real to me at this time and I can only extend my deepest condolences to her family and friends. The world lost an amazing young woman who touched the lives of many and she will be dearly missed.

I grew up playing in the KGHA and would often see Ally around the rink. I have wonderful memories playing on the same soccer team as her. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and a part of something special. She was a leader with a kind soul who checked in on the well-being of her teammates. Ally was fun to be around, I remember it was raining one evening and we were the only ones who came to practice. She was especially full of light. I’m very thankful to have worked with her a couple of summers ago at Home Depot and cherish getting that time her since it had been a while since I last saw her. She made the people around her laugh and smile and was pleasant to be around. I want to offer my condolences to Ally’s friends and family and hope you are seeking comfort during this incredibly difficult time.

Our condolences to the Kane family. Our hearts go out to you. Ally was a truly wonderful person, very caring, who always wore her heart on her sleeve. She was a great friend to us.
I (Paul) first met Ally at work at The Home Depot about 2 years ago, and we immediately became good friends. I instantly saw how she cared for the problems of customers at the Service Desk, always wanting to fix whatever went wrong. We worked on many problems, as well as daily routines, together. She quickly claimed a part of my heart. Everyone at work loved her.
When I learned of her passing, I was heart broken. We will miss Ally very much and will always remember her.

Ally received a well deserved “C” on her jersey many of the years we played together reflecting her encouraging and welcoming personality. She was a true leader. I will forever cherish the friendship we shared and take the time to appreciate these memories each time I lace up my skates. Sending my deepest condolences to her lovely family.

Ally lit up every room she walked into. She was incredibly magnetic; everyone wanted to be around her. I always felt so lucky that she always made time for me and never let me forget how much she cared. I am beyond thankful to have spent so many years with her. Ally always lit up the locker room, she made everyone laugh and smile, every practice, game or tourney. Kaner was an amazing teammate and friend. Ally was such a lovely and positive soul. I remember laughing with her before our practices and games and skating on the back pond. She showed kindness to everyone she met and was such a talented, wonderful person. I have so many fond memories with Ally and she will be missed by many. My sincere condolences to the Kane family.

Ally, you were always so genuine and friendly to me, from the first day we met until the end of high school I considered you a close friend. The day we met I was a shy grade 7 on the bench at school. You made friends with me and made me feel not so alone in a place I knew basically no one ill always be thankful for that. I enjoyed the time we spent hanging out and making memories and laughing. Im truly gutted that we wont ever get to catch up and talk about where life took us. Such a kind soul lost too soon. Rest easy Kaner.

I had the privilege of teaching Ally grade 11 English and grade 12 peer mentorship. She was kind, caring, sharp as a tack, hilarious, and a student who I remember so fondly. Ally made her mark at Holy Trinity as an incredible athlete and as a peer mentor to a younger student who needed the support of a friendly and caring older student, a role in which she absolutely thrived. I'll always remember the years of fun growing up playing Ball Hockey, Man Hunt, Kick the Can, Bump, skating on the pond and just hanging out in the Kane's backyard over the years. Ally was always enthusiastic, energetic and ready to play whatever game the neighbours were playing. She would continually humble the older boys too in hockey which was awesome.
My sincerest condolences to the Kane family and everyone who knew and loved Ally. She always brought such excitement and optimism in such an incredibly humble way to anything she did.
