Obituary of Ellen Ida Martin

It is with great sadness that we announce Ellen's sudden passing at her home on Monday August 14, 2023 at the age of 68. Dear wife of the late Barry Martin who predeceased her in 2021.  Predeceased by her loving parents Sylvio and Frances (nee Schlievert) Legault and her brother Gerald (Harold). She will be forever remembered as a loving  sister to Johnny (late Chantal), Lorraine (Raymond Empey), Karen Legault, Val Legault, and James (Cecelia). Proud aunt of Shawn, Lori, Trevor, Sylvie, Jean -Yves and Alyssa, and great aunt of  Liam and Marissa.  

Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S Renfrew on Saturday August 26, 2023 from 11:00 am until 12 noon.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Church, Mount St. Patrick at 12:30 pm. Interment Holywell Cemetery.  A reception will be held at the Glasgow Church, 152 Milton Stewart Avenue in McNab Braeside following the interment.  Donations in memory of Ellen may be made to the  Federated Women's Institute of Ontario c/o 552 Ridge Road Stoney Creek, ON L8J 2Y6.
