Obituary of Michael Ritz

It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mike at Groves Park Lodge, Renfrew on Monday September 18, 2023 at the age of 90.  Beloved husband of 70 years to Merle McNulty.  Dear Dad of David (Tami) and Doug (Carolyn).  Predeceased by his daughter Colleen Rowat.  Dear father in law of Dave Rowat (Mary-Lise).  Proud and loving grandpa to Jonathan (Meagan), Caitlin (Matt Gaudreau), Miles Rowat, Julia Rowat (Zach Waller), and Simon Rowat (Maddy).  Survived by his sisters in law Maureen and Bernadette.  Mike will be fondly remembered by the McNulty family.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Catherine Ritz and his sisters Frances Cobus, Audrey Ritz, and his brothers Leo, Herb and Larry.  The family wished to thank Quail Creek and Groves Park Lodge for the wonderful care that was provided to Mike.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church Thursday September 21st at 10:30 am.  Cremation to follow.  Donations in memory of Mike may be made to the Groves Park Lodge Auxiliary. Online condolences/donations may be made at www.gouletfuneralhome.com
