I extend my Deepest Sympathy to the Boldt Family. Lorna was a beautiful lady inside and out - so kind & always that warm smile. A life well lived with such devotion to her church!

It was a little over a year ago that we said goodbye to our first mom, and now a year later we have to say goodbye to our second/summer mom. It didn’t matter whose kid you were, Auntie Lorna always made sure that, if you were hungry, you got fed, if you were bored, she was always up for some fun, if you were bold, you were disciplined and if you had to pee in the middle of the night, she was there to take you to the outhouse. One thing for sure, she always let you know that you were loved.
Her zest for life and fun could always be found in her response to one of Dad’s proposed new adventures. She would listen to the details and respond, “I will follow that bald head anywhere”. The closeness between mom and Aunt Lorna was unique and undeniable. So much so that everyone that saw them together thought they were sisters instead of sister in laws. Well look out heaven, the “sisters” are back together!

Aunt Lorna was one of the kindest people you would ever meet. Her door was always open and she knew how to raise us up, no matter how down we felt. Her devotion to the church was unwavering and her volunteer hours there were to numerous to count. She was wise and witty and her family was with her every step of the way. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and many friends. Extra special thanks to all those who gave her excellent nursing and medical care. May her beautiful spirit rest in peace.
