Condolences to the entire family. May the Lord give you the courage and strength that you need to deal with your loss. John I know you can't hear or read this now, but you were a very special friend to me during our years at Algonquin. It was because of you that I made it through these times effortlessly. From the very first time we met we bonded. For that I am forever grateful. Thank You.
I always spoke to you about visiting St. Lucia but you found it more attractive to head to Cuba. At least you got a taste of the Caribbean. The warm sunshine and lovely beaches to bask in. I remembered my last days in Canada when you took me camping in the Mountains and there was that stream of water flowing that I just couldn't find myself to get into simply because I was heading back home to the beautiful blue beaches and white sands awaiting me. However, it was a most enjoyable time with you and your entire family. Marianne thank you for welcoming me into your home. You boys have all grown up, but I do remember one of them having a fascination about lizards. Told him back in St. Lucia there were plenty for him to love.
Once again thanks to all of you. John you are gone but will Never be forgotten. R.I.P
Your Friend

Jon, Katherine and I send our deepest condolences. John was a special man and we know how much he will be missed not only by his immediate family, but by his extended family, too. We are grateful for the times we were able to share with him at the cottage where he was happiest and always made us feel so welcome. We would be honoured to make a donation in memory of John to Blue Fish Canada.

Words cannot express how much myself, Mom, Shawn and Emerson will miss you! You did everything you could for us and kept us level headed with your cool calm demeanour. I will forever cherish our days spent out on the lake fishing and drinking by the fire! You were a great papa to Emerson and he misses his best buddy and grandpa! Love and miss you dad!!
