I will miss our long distance calls to catch up, what is new, sharing stories, plans for the future and talks on life stuff. I know helping others and your painting brought you joy and gave you purpose. I only wish you had more time in this life to do more of both. Love you Sis.

Marlene was a fighter. She had some tough battles, but always met them head on. She always had a smile on her face. She was a kind soul and will be missed. Rest easy MJ.

i’m so sorry for the loss of this beautiful soul. marlene was always a great host for sleepovers with karyn when i was a kid. her daycare was always so fun and full of gods wisdom. i had the chance to do marlene’s hair a few times back when i had a home salon in white lake. we always enjoyed our visits and had lots to chat about ..may you rest in peace. sympathy to you all xo
