Sending our deepest condolences Marlyn, Tracy, Lisa, and family,
Jack & I grew up together in Calabogie. Jack's Mom & Dad owned the big house on front street, which later became the Whippletree Shanty and later burned down.
We grew up in that big house together; me with my parents in one of the apartments that Jack's parents Hazel & Barb rented out. Jack's Dad was known as "Barb" as he was the local barber in his shop in the basement of the big house.
Jack was always known as "Crack" around the village, perhaps because of his red hair and feisty spirit.
We had a lot of escapades together, and I must admit, the odd mishap did occur.
I haven't seen Jack for a little while but I will never forget him, he was a great guy and a good friend. Wonderful memories of a great guy!
Due to health issues I am unable to attend the Mass for Jack, but our thoughts go out to all his family and friends.
Rest in peace Jack and may they have the best country music up there in Heaven. I'm sure it will be a big party!
Sincerely Jim & Nancy Elliott
