My very sincere sympathy to all the Breen family(some of whom i attended School with in Douglas, namely Cathy, Bonnie and Barry)and all the McEachen family as well. Ruth was the very essence of class, grace and elegance and kindness, and we were so fortunate to have her on this earth for all the years we did. Our respective families got along quite well at all times. We all must go down this same road, sometimes sooner than we expect, and hopefully we can leave the world a somewhat better place even if we cannot quite match Ruth in that regard, but in her memory let us all give the rest of our lives the very best endeavour that we can. Very sincere best wishes to you all and good health and happiness on the remaining road of life. Lawrence Gallagher

Ruth, I really don't know where to start with my wonderful memories of you. I think two of my favourite are of us golfing, you in teaching me saying "When you are done, you should have lipstick on both your shoulders.' :). the other time i found a caterpillar and i put it in my golf bag to bring home for the kids. They kept it in the cage and it did turn into a monarch butterfly. I will miss our calls, texts and chats, and your smile. You will be missed Please give my Mum a hug. xo Love Tina

We are so sorry to hear about Ruth’s passing. She was such a kind and wonderful lady that we couldn't help but love. Weldon and Ruth were members at our Whitetail Golf course and it was always a pleasure to see them both and have a chat with them. We will miss ruining into Ruth on some of our outings. I happen to be one of those lucky enough to have reconnected with Ruth despite knowing her for years as we became neighbours! She was one of the sweetest and kindest gals ever! She had a great sense of humour and such fun to be around! Anyone who was lucky enough to have her as a nurse at RVH was truly blessed !
