Obituary of Gloria Ethel Richard

It is with heavy hearts that we announce  the passing of our beloved mother, Gloria Richard on July 8, 2024, at the age of 96.  Beloved wife of the late Rene Richard. Loving mother of Keith (Philene), Pam Richard (late Gary), MaryAnne (Richard Lair), Bonnie Klein (Peter), and JoAnne MacMillan (Harold). Grandma to 10 grandchildren, Chantel Richard (Dylan), Melissa Brown, Daiemon  Vanskiver, Candice Vanskiver, Joshua Klein (Elise), Adam Klein (Lenore), Ashley Cavanagh (Ed), Kelsey MacMillan (Geoff Graham), Shelby McEwan (Riley). Great Grandma to 17 and Great Great Grandma to 1. She was pre-deceased by her son Barry, daughter Linda Hass (Jerome), and granddaughter Charity Brown. Gloria is survived by her sister Claudette Lockwood. Special thanks to all the staff at Groves Park Lodge and Dr. Langlois who ensured Mom was kept comfortable and safe during her stay there.                                                                           

As per Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. For those wishing, donations to Groves Park Lodge Foundation or Renfrew Victoria Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
