Peter’s suffering was hidden behind a smile that spread joy to all of us. He has escaped his earthly bonds, and gone on to his next life where there will be no sorrow or pain. He is now at peace in God's Garden.
It was always a pleasure to have a visit with Peter. His memory will keep him alive in the hearts of many.
Please accept our sincere condolences.

Elizabeth and Extended Family
We were so sad to hear of Peter's passing. We first met Peter when our brother Robbie moved into the Manor. They soon became close friends sharing many Sens games as well as many other good times together. When we went to visit Robbie and couldn't find him, many of the PSWs would say, "We just saw him and Peter together" somewhere or another. He became close to us as well over the years and we will miss him too. It was a comfort to know that Robbie had such a good friend in Peter and that they shared many happy hours together. Tim Cote
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Elizabeth and family. I always enjoyed running into Peter when I returned to Renfrew. He had a zest for life and could also take a joke if you teased him about the Senators. What an incredible human being. My condolences to you and your families. The Sens need him In heaven where he will continue to cheer.

Elizabeth and family,
We have lost a friend and Peter was a friend to all. It didn’t matter how long it was since our last chat, we just picked up where we left off and he was always happy to have a visit or a phone call. It was fun to watch a junior hockey game with him and get caught up with family. His cheerful disposition in challenging times was exemplary and I always felt uplifted when we shared a giggle. I too, would like to thank his friends and workers at the Bonnechere Manor and the Sunshine Coach Service, for taking such excellent care of him and getting him to the games. Peter is sure to live on with the hockey legends of our historic town. God rest his beautiful spirit. Hugs

I first met Peter when I was a kid and my parents would go to the English's to visit my Great Aunt Carmel Earl who boarded with them. When I was a teenager, I used to see Peter at all the home games when I was a member of the Renfrew Junior B's. I will never forget his infectious smile and his enjoyment to be at the games. What a wonderful man. Rest in peace Peter.

As one of peters workers for the last 3 years we grew to know each other. very quickly he became my friend, my need-to-know sports updates. During the recent oilers playoffs peter and I would sit and watch the game together. Peter had the most amazing smile and laugh. We will miss Peter every day at the Bonnechere manor. Over the years Peter was my number one supporter, always wondering what was new, and how i was doing. Peter was such a big part of the Manor, everyone knew him, and he knew them. He was the best trivia partner. I miss will Peter deeply. Rest in peace Peter, until we meet again my friend. My condolences to all his family and friends.

I am deeply saddened by news of Peter’s death. He was one of the kindest men I ever knew and was so good to my dear husband, Peter. He was such an avid sports fan and we had many lovely chats about the Raptors and his beloved Sens. I shall miss seeing him in his usual spot at the front of the church on Sunday mornings. My deepest sympathies to his family.
