Condolences to Gerda and The Van Woezik family from Jane and myself. John will be missed around the Cobden Airport. In his day, John did more flying than anyone there. This picture was taken at the last Burger Banger Fest this spring.

On behalf of Nipissing University Athletics and the Laker family i would like to express our deepest condolences to Rachel and the entire Van Woezik family on your loss.. What we are is dependent on the roots established by our grandparents and hearing his story shows how someone coming to Canada not only flourished but laid the cornerstone for future generations of his family to flourish .May the memories you have light the darkened path you are all on right now. Give your family a hug from us, as when one of us is hurting we all feel your pain..

John was a great man. We where so lucky to have him as our neighbour while I was growing up and always enjoyed when he would drop by and talk to dad about the deer and turkey he would see through out the day. I will also always remember when he took me on a plane ride and showed me the valley from the skies! Rest easy John. My deepest condolences to the Van Woezik family.

John was so good to me when I was a kid. Took me to the the RVH for a lot of sutures! After the ER visit, he would always stop at Cedardale and buy me an ice cream cone! He was wonderful brother! and will be missed!
