Obituary of Elizabeth May Windle

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday October 19, 2024 at the age of 78.  Dear daughter of the late Elizabeth (Betty)  and Thomas Rouble.  Beloved mom of Robbie (Shirley) and Sharlin  Barr (Jeff Miller).  Predeceased by her daughter Mandy.  Cherished Nan of Jacob and Leah. Loving sister of Margo, and Heather and sister in law of Brenda.  Predeceased by her brother Doug.  She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.  

May will be forever remembered as being a funny, kind and very strongwilled women,  she loved nothing more than hosting family dinners with her creating many memorable meals, after which she loved to tour the back roads of the Ottawa Valley to explore in the car.  She will be greatly missed.   

A celebration of her life will be held at the Horton Community Hall on Sunday October 27th, 2024 from 1:00- 4:00 pm. Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice Renfrew.
